The Mark of the Beast Continued.
“Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger” – Revelation 14:9-11
Notice that the seal of God is not placed in the hand. Revelation 14:9-11 describes those who receive the mark of the beast. However, verse 12 describes those who do not receive the mark of the beast. What’s the difference? Notice the contrast in Revelation 14:12 which says, “Here is the perseverance of the saints (God’s people) who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus.” (NASB). The issue that began in Eden with the sacrifice of Cain and Abel was the importance of obedience verses disobedience. This issue has run like a golden thread all throughout scripture. In other words, according to Revelation 14:12, if you keep the commandments of God and have the faith of Jesus, you will not receive the mark of the beast in the last days. Therefore, the mark of the beast must involve the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.
Has the beast power done anything that has changed these two beliefs? Consider first “the faith of Jesus.” Hebrews 11: 6 says that “without faith it is impossible to please God”. It also says that the believer is to live everyday by faith see Romans 1:17. It is only by faith that we receive the righteousness of Christ, and apart from His righteousness there is no salvation (Philippians 3:9).
The Catholic church says that salvation is found in the church: Pope Boniface VIII said, “There is only one holy and Catholic and apostolic church, outside of which there is no salvation for every creature to be subject to the Roman Pontiff”. In fact, they use the word ‘anathema’ which means eternal loss if you believe that salvation is by faith alone. “If anyone shall say that by faith alone a sinner is justified, so as to understand that nothing else is required to cooperate in the attainment of grace of justification, and that it is in no way necessary that he be prepared and disposed by the action of his own will, let him be anathema” (From the council of Trent.) So, they speak against having faith alone in Christ for salvation. This is in direct contradiction of Jesus who said “If you love me keep my commandments” see John 14:15 , 21 and Paul who says that salvation is by faith with out the works of the law, see e.g. Galatians 2:16 or 3:1-13.
God warned that the beast power would “seek to change times and laws,”(Daniel 7:25) and the Catholic Church openly admits doing it, even boasts about it. In a sermon at the Council of Trent in 1562, the Archbishop of Reggia, Caspar del Fossa, claimed that the Catholic Church’s whole authority is based upon the fact that they changed the Sabbath to Sunday. I have offered before the Council of Trent Document and you are welcome to request it.
But there is more!
Catholic catechisms eliminate the second commandment about making graven images (Exodus 20: 4-5) and divide the tenth commandment so that there are still 10. They also changed the fourth commandment and made it the third. The Catholic encyclopedia says, “The church after changing the day of rest from the Jewish Sabbath of the seventh day of the week to the first made the third Commandment refer to Sunday as the day to be kept holy as the Lord’s Day.”
Clearly, none of this was done because the Bible teaches it, but because of her own authority. In the churches own words: “Sunday is our mark of authority…the church is above the Bible, and this transference of Sabbath observance is proof of the fact.”

Thank you Ross for these references of the catholic system changing the sabbath and the 10 commandments.
Amazing that men can have the courage to go against God .
We need to keep on praying for those followers who are so decisive by it .
That they will see the truth.
Blessings
